Dr. Michael Ackland, MD

Dr. Ackland's clinical expertise centers on arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder and knee, with a specialty in complex revision surgeries following failed procedures. His patients have included professional athletes from the NHL, Olympic competitors, and global public figures, including the legendary Bobby Orr.

Trained at the University of Toronto and fellowship-credentialed by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Ackland is also board-certified in the United States. His published work has appeared in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics. He is a former clinical instructor at Yale University and a certified expert examiner for the Department of Industrial Accidents.

As founder of the Ackland Sports Medicine Foundation, he advocates for youth sports development and equitable access to high-quality orthopedic care.

Dr. Ackland serves as a Medical Advisor to Peptides Thailand, contributing to clinical vision and quality standards. He is a practicing orthopedic surgeon at Ackland Sports Medicine in Boston, USA and does not practice medicine in Thailand.
