Side effects to be aware of

Headache

Common

One of the most commonly reported side effects, particularly at higher doses or early in treatment. May relate to changes in acetylcholine activity. Some users find choline supplementation helps prevent this.

Irritability

Uncommon

Some patients notice increased irritability, particularly at higher doses.

Fatigue or brain fog (paradoxical)

Rare

At high doses, some patients paradoxically experience brain fog or reduced clarity. Reducing the dose usually resolves this.

Sleep disturbances

Uncommon

Taking Noopept late in the day can disrupt sleep. Morning dosing is preferred.
