LL-37 Side Effects
LL-37 is a human host defence peptide with antimicrobial and immune-modulating activity. It can cause more noticeable injection site reactions than most other peptides, and this should be expected.
This page is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Side effects vary between individuals. All protocols at Peptides Thailand are individually prescribed by licensed physicians. Contact your doctor with any concerns during treatment.
Side effects to be aware of
Injection site pain and redness
CommonLL-37 can cause more pronounced injection site discomfort and redness than typical peptides due to its direct tissue interaction. This is expected and not a sign of a problem. Applying cold to the site after injection helps manage discomfort.
Localised inflammation
CommonSome mild localised inflammatory response at the injection site is expected and part of the mechanism. It resolves within 24 to 48 hours in most patients.
Mild systemic immune activation
UncommonA small number of patients report mild fatigue or malaise during the first few days. This is a sign of immune engagement and is generally transient.
Nausea
RareRarely reported at standard doses.
