Side effects to be aware of

Injection site reactions

Common

Mild redness or swelling at the injection site, as with all subcutaneous injections.

Nausea

Uncommon

Occasionally reported, usually mild and transient.

LH/FSH surge effects

Requires monitoring

Kisspeptin stimulates GnRH release which triggers LH and FSH surges. In patients with hormone-sensitive conditions, this hormonal response needs to be anticipated and managed.

Headache

Uncommon

Occasionally reported, usually mild.

Monitoring

LH, FSH, and sex hormone levels should be monitored during treatment.
