Ipamorelin Side Effects

Side effects to be aware of

Injection site reactions

Common

Mild redness or swelling at the injection site. Common to all subcutaneous injections.

Mild water retention

Uncommon

Some patients notice mild fluid retention, particularly early in treatment. Less pronounced than with stronger GHRPs.

Headache

Uncommon

Occasionally reported, usually mild.

Fatigue (transient)

Uncommon

Some patients feel mildly tired after injection, particularly when dosing in the evening (which can be beneficial for sleep quality).

Increased appetite

Uncommon

Mild increase in appetite is occasionally reported, related to GH axis effects.

Monitoring

IGF-1 monitoring recommended for longer protocols.

Who is a good candidate?

Generally suitable for
  • Adults seeking GH stimulation for body composition, recovery, and anti-aging with a clean GHRP profile
  • Those who have reacted poorly to other GHRPs
  • Patients combining a GHRP with CJC-1295
Not suitable for
  • Patients with active cancer
  • Those expecting anabolic effects comparable to anabolic steroids

Contraindications

  • Active malignancy
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Uncontrolled diabetes (monitor glucose)

When to contact your physician

  • Nausea, vomiting, or digestive symptoms that are severe or do not ease within two weeks
  • Any chest pain, palpitations, or significant change in heart rate
  • Signs of allergic reaction: rash, hives, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing
  • Injection site reactions that worsen, spread, or do not resolve within 72 hours
  • Any new or worsening symptoms that concern you, regardless of whether they seem related to your protocol
  • Changes in any monitored values outside the range your physician specified
