Side effects to be aware of
Injection site reactions
CommonMild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site are common to all subcutaneous injections. Rotating sites between the abdomen, upper arm, and thigh, combined with correct needle technique, minimises this significantly.
Nausea
UncommonOccasionally reported, usually mild and transient. More common in the first few days of treatment and resolves without intervention in most cases.
Dizziness or lightheadedness
RareRarely reported. Usually passes within minutes and is not associated with any serious underlying cause at therapeutic doses.

- Active cancer or recent cancer history (theoretical concern due to pro-angiogenic activity)
- Known hypersensitivity to any component
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (insufficient human safety data)
Administration note
